Yes. However, you are not allowed to spam. It is acceptable to let your friends know that you have a new upload, or to announce it in the Community Shoutbox. It is not acceptable to copy & paste the same advertisement into shoutboxes all over the site. Abusing shoutboxes may result in a temporary or permanent suspension of your user account.
